The Alcyone Award for Science Fiction & Fantasy recognizes the best science fiction and fantasy writing by a New Brunswick writer each year. The award takes its name from Alcyone, the brightest star in the Pleiades.

The award is generously sponsored by The GMG Foundation, which supports wildlife and environmental causes, as well as the arts.
