Eligibility
Membership in the Writers’ Federation of New Brunswick is open to anyone with an interest in writers or writing in this province, including teachers, students, librarians, publishers, booksellers, and the general public.
WFNB members are writers active in every genre, as well as individuals and institutions who are interested in or wish to support the aims of the Federation. Members do not have to be from New Brunswick nor living in New Brunswick.
[New Brunswick (province) should not be confused with the city of the same name in New Jersey, USA. Yes, this has happened before.]
Membership Fees
Although membership fees are necessary to keep us operational, several categories keep membership within the reach of any interested New Brunswicker:
Basic annual fee: $50
University Student: $25
High School: $10
Family: $75 (two memberships at same address)
Institutional (school, library, publisher, etc.): $100.For those who REALLY want to earn a warm spot in our hearts, there is the “sustaining member” ($100), the “patron” ($250) – and for those who tire of sending in a check every single year, a lifetime membership (and a round of applause) can be had for $1000.
The WFNB membership cycle is from April to April of each year.
