Mentorship:
Many provincial writers’ federations and guilds have mentorship programs, and WFNB is very much interested in developing one, but it will take time. We currently have a mentorship committee plotting our path to this goal, which is a large part of our Three Year Action Plan.
Manuscript Evaluation Service:
We no longer offer subsidized manuscript evaluation assistance, but do help beginning writers connect with more established writers. It’s important to remember than a writer’s most valuable asset is his or her time, and if you are contacting an author seeking editing help, or feedback, expect to be charged a fee.
