Maritime Writers’ Workshops Scholarships available this summer

  Fredericton, New Brunswick, May 27, 2013— The Maritime Writers’ Workshops is offering scholarships for its upcoming 38th annual workshops in July. Novelist Chad Pelley tours NB, March 26 – 28

Noah Richler to speak at UNB about how we talk about war, Nov 14

Noah Richler, author of the Governor General’s Award-nominated What We Talk About When We Talk About War, will be delivering a talk on Wednesday, Nov. 14, at 7 p.m. at the UNB Fredericton Wu Conference Centre. Here’s a closer look at some of the participants of WordsFall 2012, October 20, Woodstock.   Cynthia Good, director of the Creative Book Publishing Program at Humber College, has been in the publishing industry for over thirty years. She was appointed the first editorial director of Penguin Books Canada in 1982 where she was responsible for establishing a publishing program which grew into one of the most successful in Canada. read more…
